Throughout our collaboration with the Alzheimer’s Society, our knowledge about dementia has increased significantly. With it coming to our attention of how common it is for individuals to wander, become lost and confused. Did you know that six in ten people living with dementia will wander at least once or repeatedly? It can be considerably dangerous and even life threatening in some cases.
After extensive research, we noticed a gap on the market for GPS locators specifically designed for those with dementia and went on to design and develop our own. Taking into consideration that it needs a long battery life and to be easily operated. Our Safer Walking Locator offers up to 48 hours of battery life, is seamlessly integrated with our custom-built app and provides family, friends or carers unparalleled peace of mind by viewing the past and present whereabouts of the device user.
