Our Terms & Conditions of Business

Please ensure you keep a copy of our terms and conditions.

For orders accepted by phone, fax, online or by post, we accept payment by cheque or CHAPS/BACS. Credit and debit card payments are accepted online or by telephone. We ask for your patience if paying by cheque. All credit card payments are input over a secure encrypted website using the highest level of encryption.

All products are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled, for example ‘out of stock’ we will inform you of an expected delivery date.

When you place an order with us through this web site, you are making an offer to buy goods from Ravencourt Ltd and we will send you an email to confirm your order. When we receive your order we will send you another email which will list the goods and the prices of your order and this email will be the contract between us for this transaction. In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this and there will be no contract between us.

The title of goods remains with Ravencourt Ltd until payment is received in full.

All prices are in Pounds Sterling, excluding VAT. We reserve the right to change any advertised price or withdraw special offers at any time and will advise you of any such change before dispatch.

Value Added Tax will be charged on all invoices for those not registered as partially sighted, blind, disabled or a registered charity.

Shipping cost to Mainland UK addresses excluding Highlands is £4.95 per order, this is by signed for courier delivery. Other delivery destinations are calculated at checkout. If your destination delivery address does not calculate shipping at checkout or you have a question about delivery costs please contact us for more details.

Packaging & Delivery

All products available on this website can be delivered to your door within (typically) 3 days in mainland UK, slightly longer overseas. If you’re not sure what you need, or for bulk order shipping prices, please call us on our Order Hotline.

Privacy & Data Protection

We request your name, address including postcode and e-mail address to enable us to deliver product to you and inform you of relevant future offers. We WILL NOT pass your contact details to ANY third parties except our suppliers in order to dispatch product to you.

We will take all reasonable care to keep your order secure, but we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our site.

Satisfaction Guarantee

Your right to cancel an order.

The Distance Selling Regulations state that your right to cancel an order starts the moment you place your order and doesn’t end until seven working days from the day after you receive your goods.

If you are not fully satisfied or have a query, the first thing to do is phone or e-mail us. We can usually sort out any issues quickly and efficiently

If in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with a product you have purchased from Ravencourt Ltd, please call us to discuss this as we value all feedback and we want you to be entirely satisfied and recommend us to others

Returning Faulty Goods

Please contact us prior to returning your product and we can discuss your problem, in some cases we can overcome an issue of the telephone before you go to the trouble of returning your product.

If you receive faulty goods and wish to return them, the Distance Selling Regulations are in addition to your other legal rights.

So if your goods are faulty and don’t do what they’re supposed to, or don’t match the description given, you have the same consumer rights as you have when buying face to face.

It is your responsibility to ensure faulty goods are returned in appropriate packaging and if the product on inspection is deemed to be faulty we will refund your cost of postage.

If the goods delivered are not what you ordered, are damaged, defective or incomplete, you MUST inform us in writing within 10 working days of delivery.

If you do not receive the goods ordered within 30 days of order we shall have no responsibility unless you notify us in writing of the problem within 5 further days. In this instance please get in touch and we will do everything we can to make sure you are happy

Our total liability in all cases shall not exceed the price of the goods purchased from us.

Severance If any part of these Terms & Conditions are deemed unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude our liability to you) the enforceability of any other parts of these Terms & Conditions will not be affected. E and EO
